The Distinguished Senator Representing Plateau Central at the National Assembly, Diket Plang, attended the burial Service of the Late Prof.Sonny Gwanle Tyoden, the former Deputy Governor of Plateau State.

The Burial Service, which took place at the COCIN Headquarters in Jos, saw thousands of people who came to sympathize and bid farewell to the late elder statesman.

Diket Plang describes the late Prof Sonny Gwanle Tyoden as an erudite scholar, an esteemed professor of Political Science, former Vice Chancellor of the University of Jos, and a dedicated and Loyal former Deputy Governor of Plateau State.

“This Profound loss is felt deeply across the Mwaghavul nation, Plateau state, and throughout Nigeria; it transcends borders and Generations”, he added.

After the funeral service, the remains of Prof.Tyoden arrived at his hometown, Pushit of Mangu LGA, where sympathizers bid a final goodbye.

Sympathizers at the burial Service include the Executive Governor of Plateau State, H.E Barr Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, Former Governor of Plateau State, Sen.Simon Bako Lalong, former Governor of Plateau Sen.Joshua Chibi Dariye, Mishkaham Mwaghavul Da John Putmang Hirse, The Deputy Governor of Plateau State NGO Josephine Piyo among Many others.
