Rt. Hon. Ahmed Idris Wase, CON, Deputy Speaker of the 9th Federal House of Representatives and Member representing Wase Federal Constituency, today empowered 500 constituents through the distribution of fertilizers.
The initiative, aimed at boosting sustainable food production and supporting small farmers in Wase Federal Constituency, provided fertilizers to beneficiaries across polling units and individual farmers.
The project has been widely praised for its positive impact on the livelihoods of recipients, with many expressing gratitude to the Deputy Speaker for his generosity and commitment to agricultural development.
Rt. Hon. Wase, ably represented by his Special Assistant, Barrister Musa Adamu Idris, emphasized that the initiative is designed to support farmers, promote bumper harvests, and ensure equitable distribution of agricultural inputs for the benefit of Wase constituents.
The event, held at the residence of Rt. Hon. Ahmed Idris Wase in Bashar, was attended by dignitaries, party officials, and elders. In his remarks, Wase reiterated the need for the distribution committee to ensure a hitch-free process while prioritizing hard-to-reach areas.
He also cautioned farmers against selling the commodity, urging them instead to use it judiciously in order to guarantee bountiful harvests.
