Ali Nuhu Meets Gov. Mutfwang on Film Industry Developmen
The Managing Director of the Nigerian Film Corporation (NFC), Ali Nuhu Mohammed, has met with the Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang, to discuss strategies for reviving and expanding the film sector in Jos, the historic home of Nigerian cinema.
Discussions centred on enhancing film production infrastructure, promoting creative talent, and positioning Plateau State as a major hub for the Nigerian movie industry.
Governor Mutfwang reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting the creative sector as part of efforts to boost tourism, youth employment, and cultural preservation.
Ali Nuhu, a celebrated actor and filmmaker, expressed optimism that the collaboration would revitalize the film industry in Jos and restore its pride of place as the cradle of Nollywood.
