APC National Chairman Nentawe Yilwatda Says Party Poised to Unseat PDP in Plateau State by 2027
The National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, has declared that the party is fully prepared and strategically positioned to defeat the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2027 governorship election in Plateau State.
Prof. Yilwatda stated that the APC has regained strength across the state and is rebuilding its structures to ensure a decisive victory. He added that the people of Plateau are becoming increasingly dissatisfied with the PDP-led administration and are yearning for what he described as credible leadership anchored on accountability, unity, and development.
According to the APC Chairman, the party is undergoing massive reorganization from the wards to the state level, positioning itself as the most viable alternative for Plateau citizens ahead of 2027.
He expressed confidence that with continued mobilization, stakeholder engagement, and the renewed energy within the APC, the party will reclaim the state and form the next government.
