The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, has approved the appointment of several Special Advisers, Advisers, and Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) as part of efforts to enhance effective leadership and administrative efficiency at the party’s National Secretariat.
The appointments are aimed at strengthening strategic coordination, policy direction, communication, and grassroots engagement within the ruling party.
According to the announcement, the newly appointed Special Advisers include Senator Danladi Sankara on Political Matters, Hon. Daniel Reyenieju Oritsegbubemi on National Assembly Matters, and Dr. Peace Longdet on Research, Strategy, and Planning.
Those appointed as Advisers are Hon. Jibrin Abdullahi Surajo for Community Engagement, Mr. Paul Domsing for Special Duties, Suleiman Bukari for Intelligence Coordination, and Professor Taiwo Ajibolu Balofin as Adviser on Diaspora Coordination and Mobilisation (Honorary).
The list of Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) includes Imran Muhammad on New Media, Mildred Bakwo on Civil Society Organisations, Yusuf Dingyadi on Media, Mrs. Enenedu Idusuyi on Protocol, Ismaila Sadis Mohammed on Conflict Management, Zara Onyinye on Media (Public Relations), Adaku Apugo on Inter-Governmental Relations, and Obinta Juliet Chinenye on Youth Mobilisation.
Professor Yilwatda congratulated all the appointees and expressed confidence in their capacity to deliver on their respective mandates. He urged them to see their appointments as a call to service and to work collectively towards strengthening the party and advancing national development.
