Davido Reveals Vision His Father Had About His Music Career

Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, revealed that his father, Deji Adeleke, had a vision about his music career.

According to Davido, his father foresaw that he would eventually end his music career as a gospel singer.

This revelation was shared by Davido during an interview, highlighting the influence and expectations his father has regarding his future in music.

Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, shared a vision his father, Deji Adeleke, had about his music career during a chat with guests at his wedding on Tuesday.

Davido recounted, “In the morning, daddy would say, ‘Davido, I had a vision about you.’ I said, ‘What vision?’ He said, ‘I had a vision that you ended your music as a gospel singer.’”

The wedding ceremony of Davido and his wife, Chioma, took place at the Eko Hotel and Suites and was attended by several dignitaries, including his uncle, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Abia State Governor Alex Otti, former President Olusegun Obasanjo, former Akwa Ibom State Governor Udom Emmanuel, and the Ooni of Ife, HRH Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi.

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, Dele Momodu, who is an uncle to Sophia, the mother of Davido’s first child, Imade, congratulated Davido and Chioma on their wedding. He shared a photo of the couple on Instagram with a message:

 “On behalf of the MOMODU family of IHIEVBE, EDO STATE, I wish to send our heartiest congratulations to @davido and his lovely wife @thechefchi on this special day of their wedding. May GOD almighty bless the union and provide you with good health, more prosperity and unlimited happiness.”
