Dr. Solomon Kwande Reaffirms Commitment to Agriculture, Distributes Free Fertilisers in Kagu

The Director-General of the Plateau State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (PLASCHEMA), Dr. Solomon Kwande, has distributed free fertilisers to farmers in Kagu, Pankshin Local Government Area, as part of efforts to support agricultural productivity and improve food security in the community.

Speaking during the distribution, Dr. Kwande expressed appreciation to the Executive Governor of Plateau State, His Excellency, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, for the confidence reposed in him to serve the people of the state. He described the opportunity as a privilege and pledged his continued commitment to advancing the administration’s vision for sustainable development.

Dr. Kwande noted that the fertiliser distribution was aimed at easing the burden on farmers and encouraging increased agricultural production, particularly during the current farming season. He urged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the inputs to boost crop yields and strengthen food production across the area. He also highlighted what he described as the remarkable achievements of the Mutfwang administration, particularly in the areas of security, agriculture, healthcare, and human capital development. According to him, the Governor’s people-centred policies and strategic interventions have continued to improve the lives of Plateau residents while laying a solid foundation for sustainable economic growth.

The beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the gesture, describing it as timely and impactful. They commended Dr. Kwande for remembering his home community and pledged to make effective use of the fertilisers to achieve a successful farming season.
