Plateau News reports that the Rivers State government, led by Governor Siminalayi Fubara, is gearing up to launch an inquiry into the activities of the previous administration headed by Nyesom Wike.
The current administration is planning to establish an investigative committee to examine the operations of the former government during Wike’s eight-year tenure.
This development signifies a fresh twist in the ongoing political turmoil gripping the oil-rich state, deepening the rift between Fubara and Wike.
Fubara previously served as the Accountant General of Rivers State during Wike’s tenure as governor.
