The Institute of Gutul Foundation team, led by its Chief Executive Officer, Victor Gutul, paid a visit to the Plateau State Health Insurance Scheme (PLASCHEMA) on February 11, 2025. The purpose of the visit was to discuss the premium package purchased by the foundation for individuals with health issues.
During the meeting, the team expressed concerns over the 16 beneficiaries who had been issued PLASCHEMA cards but were yet to access health insurance benefits. The team sought to understand the reasons behind this delay and find a resolution.
The delegation was warmly received by Dr. Kwande, the Director of Administration at PLASCHEMA. Dr. Kwande welcomed the team and assured them that the agency would facilitate re-registration for the affected beneficiaries. He attributed the delay to misconceptions and political instability.
The Institute of Gutul Foundation team appreciated Dr. Kwande’s prompt response and the agency’s commitment to resolving the issue. The team looks forward to a successful re-registration process, ensuring the beneficiaries receive the necessary health insurance benefits.
