Plateau State Speaker Rt. Hon Dewan Facilitates the Appointment of 8 Youth from PKK Constituency into the Nigeria Police Force

In a remarkable demonstration of youth empowerment and commitment to community development, the Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Gabriel Dewan, has facilitated the appointment of eight (8) young men and women from the Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam (PKK) Federal Constituency into the Nigeria Police Force.

This laudable achievement comes as part of the Speaker’s continued efforts to create opportunities for youth across the constituency and ensure their active participation in nation-building.

Speaking on the development, Rt. Hon. Dewan emphasized that the inclusion of youths from PKK in the police force is a step toward addressing the issues of unemployment, insecurity, and youth restiveness in the area.

The parents and guardians of the newly appointed officers have expressed their heartfelt appreciation to the Speaker for his intervention and support. For many, this marks the beginning of a better future—not only for their children but for the entire constituency.

Rt. Hon. Gabriel Dewan reaffirmed his commitment to youth empowerment and called on other leaders to join hands in promoting policies and initiatives that will uplift young Nigerians.

The successful facilitation of these appointments into the Nigeria Police Force stands as a shining example of responsive leadership, community impact, and youth-centered governance.

As these eight young individuals begin their journey in national service, they carry with them the hopes and pride of the entire PKK constituency—and the firm support of a Speaker who believes in their potential.
