Police Apprehend Alleged Mastermind of Abuja-Kaduna Train Attack, The Nigerian Police have made a significant breakthrough by apprehending the purported mastermind behind the violent assault on the Abuja-Kaduna passenger train that shook the nation in March 2022. The individual in custody has been identified as Ibrahim Abdullahi, alias Mandi.
During a press briefing in Kaduna on Thursday, the Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, revealed a major breakthrough in the investigation into the Abuja-Kaduna train assault.
He announced the arrest of Ibrahim Abdullahi, alias Mandi, marking a significant step forward in resolving the case.
Adejobi disclosed that Mandi was also involved in the abduction of students from Greenfield University in 2021, shedding light on his extensive criminal activities.
Additionally, the police seized 48 AK-47 rifles during Mandi’s apprehension, underscoring the gravity of his involvement in violent crimes.
Efforts are now underway to identify Mandi’s sponsors and the sources of the weapons used in these criminal acts.
