Ahead of the first anniversary of his administration on May 29, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu arrived in Lagos to begin a commissioning spree of projects completed under his tenure.
This announcement was made by Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, in a press statement on Saturday.
The presidency announced that on Sunday in Lagos, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will inaugurate the newly reconstructed concrete-paved road leading to the nation’s major ports in Apapa and Tin Can Island.
This project, which began under the Muhammadu Buhari administration, was financed by the Dangote Group using its tax credits.
On Sunday, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will virtually inaugurate the refurbished Third Mainland Bridge and the rehabilitation of 330 roads and bridges across Nigeria.
The highlight will be the launch of the Lagos-Calabar Superhighway, a N15 trillion project connecting nine coastal states, with Section Two awarded to Hitech Construction Limited.
President Tinubu will return to Abuja on Tuesday to continue his commissioning activities.

He will inaugurate the Southern Parkway, named after him by the Nyesom Wike-led FCT Administration.
On Wednesday, Tinubu will attend the National Assembly Dialogue Series and unveil the National Assembly Library Complex, also named after him.
Following this, he will relaunch the commercialisation of the Abuja Light Rail (Abuja Metro) and join a symbolic train ride to the city centre.
The Abuja Metro, completed in 2018 by the Buhari Administration, was operational until 2020 when it was abandoned due to COVID-19 and subsequent vandalism.
The FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, has spent $15 million refurbishing it and building access roads.
President Tinubu will relaunch it for commercial service with a symbolic train ride. He will also inaugurate the Wuye Flyover-Link Bridge and the Defence Intelligence Agency Headquarters.
On May 31, Tinubu will commission the NASENI-Portland Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Reverse Engineering Centre in Utako, Abuja.
