WAEC 2024 Nov/Dec Exam Results Is Out – [See Pass Rate]

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has released the results of the 2024 November/December West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for private candidates (Second Series).

According to a statement by WAEC Nigeria’s Head of the National Office, Dr. Dangut Amos, and the council’s Head of Public Affairs, Moyosola Adesina, a total of 65,023 candidates sat for the examination. Of these, 34,878 candidates—53.64%—secured credits in at least five key subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.

This marks a significant improvement compared to previous years, surpassing the 44.29% pass rate recorded in 2023 and the 42.16% in 2022, reflecting a 9.35% increase in overall performance.
