WAEC Reveals Start Date for 2024 WASSCE Examination

The West African Examinations Council, Nigeria, has announced that the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for school candidates will commence on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, and end on June 24, 2024.

Dr. Amos Dangut, the Head of the Nigeria Office, made this announcement at the WAEC Lagos Office on Monday, April 29, 2024.

He assured stakeholders of the council’s readiness to conduct the examination, which will span seven weeks and six days.

This announcement provides clarity and sets the schedule for students and schools preparing for the examination.

Dr. Amos Dangut, the Head of the Nigeria Office of the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), has announced that the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for school candidates will be conducted in four WAEC member countries: Nigeria, Gambia, Sierra-Leone, and Liberia.
