In a significant step toward fostering collaboration, Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang hosted members of the National Assembly from the state at his residence in the Old Government House, Jos.
The meeting aimed to align efforts among leaders to rebuild Plateau and prioritize the collective good of its people.
During the meeting, Governor Mutfwang shared his administration’s vision to restore Plateau’s lost glory and ensure equitable development across all communities. He emphasized the importance of unity among leaders, regardless of their political affiliations.
“We have come to the realization that without unity and collaboration, we cannot move Plateau forward,” Mutfwang stated.
He commended the lawmakers from different political parties, including the PDP, APC, and Labour Party, for setting aside political differences to work toward the “Plateau Project.”
“Today marks a new beginning. This meeting symbolizes our collective resolve to bury political differences in the interest of our people. I am confident it signals a brighter future for Plateau State,” he added.

Senator Pam Dung Gyang (Plateau North) and Rt. Hon. Yusuf Adamu Gagdi (Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam Federal Constituency) were unable to attend due to official assignments but were acknowledged for their commitment to the Plateau cause.
