Following the announcement of the removal of Yusuf Magaji Bichi as the Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS), a wave of celebration reportedly swept through the agency’s office complex.
In a widely circulated video, DSS officials were seen rejoicing after the news broke.
President Bola Tinubu appointed Mr. Adeola Oluwatosin Ajayi as the new Director-General of the DSS.
Ajayi, who previously served as Assistant Director-General, brings a wealth of experience to the role, having held key positions as State Director in Bauchi, Enugu, Bayelsa, Rivers, and Kogi states.
His extensive career within the DSS is expected to play a crucial role in repositioning the agency under his leadership.
