Residents of several rural communities in Pankshin North are set to enjoy improved mobile network services as Rt. Hon. Dewan K. Gabriel has announced the arrival of 4G network boosters for installation across the constituency.
According to the lawmaker, the network enhancement equipment has arrived in Pankshin and installation will commence immediately in Kor, Tazuk, Jimin, Kimat/Dakup, and other selected communities.
Dewan said the intervention is aimed at addressing the long-standing challenge of poor and unreliable mobile network coverage affecting many rural communities.
He noted that the project will significantly improve communication, strengthen security through easier access to emergency services, support local businesses, and provide residents with better access to digital and economic opportunities.
The Minority Leader of the Plateau State House of Assembly described the project as another fulfilled campaign promise, reaffirming his commitment to delivering impactful and people-oriented representation.
He emphasized that no community should be left behind in the drive for development, adding that the initiative forms part of his broader vision to improve the quality of life for the people of Pankshin North.
Dewan also expressed optimism that with continued support from the people, more developmental projects would be attracted to the constituency, promising to expand infrastructure and community-focused initiatives under his Positive Impact to Humanity agenda.
The installation of the network boosters is expected to enhance connectivity and bridge communication gaps in the benefiting communities, marking another milestone in efforts to improve rural infrastructure across Pankshin North.
