Vice President Kashim Shettima held a retreat on Saturday evening with several aides of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and representatives from the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) in Abuja.
The meeting was announced by Stanley Nkwocha, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Communications (Office of the Vice President).
The retreat, which took place shortly after Shettima attended the wedding ceremony of Dr. Aisha Rabiu Kwankwaso and Fahad Dahiru Mangal in Kano, focused on aligning the strategic goals and objectives of the Tinubu administration under its Renewed Hope Agenda.
During his address, Vice President Shettima emphasized the administration’s dedication to fulfilling its promises to Nigerians and highlighted the importance of teamwork, stating, “Great things happen nationally when topmost leadership is goaded and supported from below.”
The event served as a platform for the President’s aides to coordinate on the implementation strategies needed to achieve the administration’s targets.
