The Nigerian Senate has officially confirmed Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun, the most senior justice of the Supreme Court, as the new Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN). Kekere-Ekun, who becomes the 23rd Chief Justice, received confirmation on Wednesday after undergoing a two-hour question-and-answer session with senators.
