Tinubu Will Reshuffle Cabinet – Presidency Confirms

President Bola Tinubu has acknowledged that a cabinet reshuffle is on the horizon.

Additionally, the President has called on his ministers to actively engage with the media and promote the initiatives of their respective ministries.

During a press conference at the State House in Abuja on Wednesday, Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, expressed concern that despite significant efforts, many Nigerians remain uninformed about government activities.

Onanuga stated, “The President has expressed his intention to reshuffle his cabinet, and he will do it. While there’s no confirmed timeline, he may do it before October 1st.”

Addressing the administration’s performance, Onanuga added, “The President has instructed all ministers at the last Federal Executive Council meeting to engage with the media and speak about their work.

Some have been hesitant, but now they must step forward and showcase what their ministries have accomplished. The perception that the government is not doing enough needs to be corrected, and it’s up to the ministers to communicate the progress.”
