ASUU President, Professor Emmanuel Osodeke, issued a stern warning during a press conference held at the ASUU national headquarters in Abuja, stating that unless the government addresses their demands, the union will be compelled to initiate another nationwide strike action.
Osodeke attributed the looming strike action to the federal government’s inaction following the dissolution of the governing council of universities in May of the previous year.
He emphasized the need for the government to be accountable to the people for its decisions.
