‘Calling Don Jazzy An Ordinary Influencer Is Disrespectful’

Nigerian skit maker and actor, Debo Adebayo, popularly known as Mr Macaroni, has criticized Grammy award-winning singer Wizkid for his remarks about veteran producer and music executive, Don Jazzy.

In a post on X, Macaroni described Don Jazzy as the biggest entertainment influencer in Africa, encompassing music, content creation, films, and brand endorsements, among other areas.

However, Macaroni expressed that the manner in which Wizkid referred to Don Jazzy as “an influencer” was disrespectful considering Don Jazzy’s contributions to the Nigerian music industry.

He emphasized that Don Jazzy is an “absolute legend” who has selflessly supported numerous entertainers in the country regardless of their status.
